I needed a laptop bag for when I take my late 2008, 13″ white MacBook on the go. I usually carry my MacBook in my purse with the rest of my daily things I carry around with me, which worked out fine when I was just carrying around my MacBook. But recently I’ve been needing to bring my 60W power adapter, my 4 port USB hub, my wireless mouse or Wacom tablet, and my 320gb external hard drive.

My friend sent me a package the other day from Virginia. I knew he was going to send me a package but didn’t know what was inside. When I opened the package I was surprised to see that he purchased a Harveys Seatbelt Bags: Laptop Sleeve Black. I was very excited, I’ve been wanting one for a long time but just never bought one. To finally have one was just great! You can’t find it in the Apple Store where I’m from, and to buy it online on Harveys website is more expensive for $88.00 compared to buying it at the Apple Store for $79.95.

First immediately tried putting my sexy 13″ late 2008 white MacBook to see if it will fit. Score! It does. It’s a tight fit to put in and take out but once my MacBook was in there was alot of room for me to still put my power adapter, pens, a small notebook using the 5 slip pockets in the bag. Second, I tried putting my MacBook in the bag with my Incase hardshell cover on. Unfortunately, it didn’t fit. I like to carry around my MacBook with a hard case cover to protect it from scratches, dust, dirt, and dents.

As much as I love Harveys Laptop Sleeve, I don’t think I’ll be using it because I don’t like to carry my white MacBook bare without a cover on it. Maybe I’ll be doing a future giveaway.
