1. Tap on the Cydia icon to launch the application.

2. On the bottom, tap on “Manage”, then tap on the globe for “Sources”.

3. On the top, tap on the “Edit” button, then the “Add” button.

4. When the “Enter Cydia/APT URL” window pops up, type in “http://cydia.iphoneil.net“, then “Add Source”.

5. Cydia will verify and register the repository URL. When it’s complete, tap on “Return to Cydia”.

6. When done registering, tap on “iPhoneil.net”, tap on the letter “P” on the side to find “Push Fix” faster. Once you found it, tap on “Push Fix”.

7. On the top, tap on “Install” and “Confirm” to install PushFix.

8. When installation of PushFix is complete, tap on “Reboot Device” to restart iPhone.

9. I was able to received my yahoo instant messages even after I quit the application.

NOTE: You may have to configure your email and/or Wi-Fi password again after installing PushFix.
